Teaching printmaking is a rewarding experience because of the response of the students. Cutting a lino plate or a stencil mask is more strict, more rigid than the making of a pencil drawing. The gestures and the shades became difficult to make, so students seek altervative visual tools to visualise forms and shapes within their images, thus extending their palette vocabulary. |
